OKC/BRT Dinner Event
About the Event
Our first style show was in 2000 and was held at Village Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. Our style show has grown over the years and now we host a dinner event at the Embassy Suites in Norman with more than 1,000 in attendance every year.
The purpose of our Back-to-School Dinner Event is to create awareness for Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children and the children in care. With the money raised, a special fund is set up to provide yearly clothing and other basic needs for the children at the campuses located in Oklahoma City and Edmond. This event creates revenue through individual sponsorships, business sponsorships, reserved tables and group fundraising through our goal sheets program. At the event, men and women will enjoy a fabulous meal at 5:30 p.m. and be entertained by our witty emcee, Ed Murray, as we watch awesome children beam with excitement, modeling their favorite outfit for school or church.
How You Can Get Involved
- Purchase a ticket for only $30, or reserved tables for 10 are available. Individual tickets may be purchased for $30 by calling our office at (405) 735-8343.
