Maybe you have already set up your Christmas tree, made plans for the gathering of family and friends in your home and begun baking all the goodies the Christmas season brings (if you have made any Christmas pies, I am happy to taste-test them.) Unity, hope and family are such a big part of the Christmas season, and Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children (OBHC) strives to provide this for all the families and children in our care. Without the faithful generosity of friends like you, we would not be able to provide a special and memorable Christmas for those OBHC serves.
At OBHC, campus staff strives to provide the sense of family and home for the children and single-mom families who reside there. One thing that makes Christmas special in families is traditions that are practiced each year. I am sure many traditions practiced during Christmas at OBHC are similar to the activities and events your family enjoys each year. Every year at Christmas, the provision of volunteers, churches and donors not only adds to the joy of activities and parties but provides opportunities for gospel conversations so children and families will hear about Jesus.
