Family-Focused Care

Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children believes in the sanctity of the family. Children’s Hope was developed to help single moms, who may have limited or no support/resources, by providing an opportunity to develop a solid foundation for herself and the children in her custody. The goal of Children’s Hope is to help these families become productive and more self-sufficient by providing a safe, stable and nurturing place to live, while equipping, assisting and teaching important skills that assist both the mother and the children. This includes:

  • Parenting skills
  • Career development
  • Spiritual development/Church involvement
  • Relational needs
  • Money management
  • Education
Since 2007, Children’s Hope has helped more than 350 families and impacted more than 620 children. In 2018, Children’s Hope helped single moms obtain 12 diplomas, licenses and certifications from local schools/Vo-techs. Children’s Hope is a great opportunity for single moms looking for a better life for herself and her children.

Two of OBHC’s residential campuses provide family-focused care.
