Inspiring Hope and Healing
When families face a crisis, children need stability, structure, and love. OBHC’s Child-Focused Care ministry offers safe, nurturing environments for children ages 6-17 from Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, and Texas. Youth facing challenges like abandonment, unsafe living conditions, or family conflict can find hope and healing on our three residential campuses. Children live in homes with caring houseparents who model healthy family dynamics.
We cannot accommodate children who are addicted to drugs and alcohol, need in-depth psychiatric care, exhibit habitual delinquent behavior, are mentally or physically disabled, or are physically or sexually aggressive. We can make referrals to other facilities that can handle these unique scenarios.
Let us help you find hope and a future.

Personalized Paths and Plans
We provide children with a safe and loving, family-style home. Together, they share meals, tackle chores, complete homework, and build lifelong friendships in a nurturing, Christ-centered environment. Every child’s journey is unique. That’s why we create a personalized plan to encourage healthy behaviors, strengthen family bonds, and equip children and their families with tools for lasting success.
Our mission is to offer a safe, faith-filled home until children can reunite with their families, graduate high school, or step into adulthood as confident, kind individuals. Spiritual growth anchors daily life on every campus. Through daily devotions, Bible studies, and local church involvement, children grow in character, integrity, and responsibility, guided by Biblical principles.
Enriching Activities
We encourage children to discover their God-given potential through a variety of activities, including:
Education
Attendance at local public schools, with support for academic success.
Life Skills
Programs like 4-H, FFA, animal care, and vocational training (welding, auto mechanics) teach patience and responsibility.
Recreation
Sports and access to campus amenities like gyms and swimming pools.

- Graduate from high school.
In addition, our campuses offer College and Career for residents who:
- Have completed the program (see above) and
- Choose to remain on campus, and
- Obey the rules, and
- Are attending college or vocational school, and/or
- Are gainfully employed.
What happens if a child does not want to enter one of our residential programs?
A child’s own willingness to accept placement and to make an honest effort to rectify his or her struggles is a great determining factor for anticipated success. All OBHC campuses are described as open settings, and we do not provide a 24-hour watch staff. If a child is not an appropriate fit for our programs, we may be able to help with referrals for other agencies/facilities that may be able to offer their services.
What is the residential campus living environment like?
The atmosphere is that of a caring family, with up to eight boys or eight girls placed in a home under the supervision of Christian houseparents. Children have meals, activities, chores, and homework in their day-to-day life together. Children are encouraged to participate in a variety of school, church, and campus activities/programs.
What is the cost for services?
Our ministry is a gift in Christ’s name; we do not require payment for services.
