Itinerary*
July 6
Depart OKC to Anchorage. Check into hotel for next three nights.
July 7
Continental breakfast followed by guided city tour to include downtown Anchorage and Earthquake Park, and the airport to view the seaplanes landing. Lunch on your own and free time to shop downtown. After lunch will be a visit to the Anchorage Museum and a stop at the Ulu Factory. Dinner with the group before returning to the hotel.
July 8
Continental breakfast then a trip to Whittier, Alaska with stops at Portage Glacier and Refuge. The afternoon will include a glacier cruise of Prince William Sound with lunch on the cruise. Dinner will be at the Alyeska Resort before returning to the hotel.
July 9
Continental breakfast before departing to Denali National Park. Stops include the Iditarod Headquarters. Lunch included in Denali. Afternoon and evening will be free to enjoy the area.
July 10
After breakfast will be free time to explore the area. Lunch on your own. Afternoon adventure is a train ride from Denali to Fairbanks. Dinner included. After arrival, we will check in at our hotel.
July 11
After breakfast will be a guided tour of downtown Fairbanks, the Alaska Pipeline, and a little gold panning. After lunch is a sightseeing cruise on the Riverboat Discovery along the Chena River. Dinner will be at the Alaska Salmonbake before heading to the airport. Tonight we will fly back to Oklahoma City, returning the next day.
July 12
Arrive home.
