Place for Hope

Since 1903, Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children (OBHC) has provided a place for children who need of a home. There are no charges for our services. We serve boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 17 and offer a safe place to live in a healthy and wholesome environment with a married couple living in a cottage. Child referrals are accepted from anyone, for any child in need of help and can be referred by themselves, parents, social services, pastors, educators or other family members. A child does not need to be Baptist to apply. Children who live at OBHC attend public schools and go to church together as a cottage family.

If you have complete information on the person(s) needing placement and wish to submit an application for placement.

If you are a teacher, counselor or friend, with minimal information on the person(s) needing placement, you can refer a child.

OBHC also offers Children’s Hope, a program offering a home where a single mother (18+ and older) can live with her child/children while learning a skill and/or getting her education.
