Women of Compassion

We are seeking generous, community-minded women from across Oklahoma to carry out the mission of Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children. Women of Compassion enables you to be part of gifts that are collectively larger than most women can afford to contribute individually. Each donation for membership is due by the day of the annual forum.

Members meet with other women from across the state annually, where they will be inspired by national speakers and hear from prospective grant recipients to cast their vote. Your vote, your voice, helps determine how the yearly contributions are spent. Absentee ballots will be made available for members unable to attend the event.

Each member of Women of Compassion contributes $1,000 per year.

Women of Compassion’s goal is to reach at least 100 members each year.* By reaching our goal of 100 members, we will be capable of awarding a $50,000 grant to one prospective recipient and the remaining $50,000 will provide much needed operating costs to the remaining participants. If more than 100 members are reached, subsequent grants will be awarded in 50,000 increments to the remaining runner-up submissions.
