OBHC Response to COVID-19
Because of the increased exposure to COVID-19 and the recommendations made by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) as well as national, state and local authorities, Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children (OBHC) is instilling safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of its residents, clients and staff and encourage social distancing in the wake of this increased threat.
All OBHC activities and events outside of normal operations have been postponed or canceled between now and April 30. To find out details about a particular event, check out https://www.obhc.org/events/upcoming-events. OBHC will continue to monitor the situation and reevaluate it in the coming weeks.
OBHC campuses will continue to serve the residents on campus but function as a closed campus to outside visitation between March 18 and April 30. We ask all who want or need to visit the campus to call and schedule a future time and date with the office. While OBHC is appreciative of non-monetary donations that are brought to the campuses, OBHC will not be receiving any until further notice.
Hope Pregnancy Centers in OKC, Tulsa, Ardmore and Edmond will be closed starting March 18. However, it you have questions about an unplanned pregnancy, please call any of our centers during normal business hours. Hope staff members will be available to talk, answer questions or schedule a future appointment.
While OBHC hopes to get back to normal operations by May 1, this date is a target date and could change based off future responses made due to COVID-19. Thank you for your understanding.
