Foster Care Resources is working with churches across the state to partner with the foster care community and provide a supportive network.

Foster Care Resources does this by:

  • Providing recertification training opportunities
  • Helping foster/adoptive families to connect with support groups in their communities
  • Connecting churches to the foster/adoptive community
  • Recruiting foster and adoptive families

Lending Library

The Foster Care Resources office has a lending library of DVD studies, books and other resources that have been approved by DHS for re-certification training hours and personal growth. For inquiries, please contact Teri Blanton at 405.942.3800.

Support Groups

It is important to be connected and know you are not alone. Foster Care Resources is always a resource for your questions or concerns, training opportunities and to help you and your family become more connected to support services in your community.
