Conrad succeeds Rod Phillips, who served in that capacity since 1988. Phillips was named vice president of operations and program earlier this year and is now part of the executive team at the Home Office.

Mr. Conrad has earned a Master of Science in marriage and family therapy from Oklahoma Baptist University, a Bachelor of Science in social work from the University of Oklahoma, and an Associate of Arts in general studies from Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College.

Prior to serving as assistant administrator at Boys Ranch Town, Conrad served as a caseworker and associate houseparent there. Scott and his wife, Patty, have four children.

Tony Kennedy, president of Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children, says, “Scott’s experience, education and commitment to Jesus Christ will serve him well in his new position.”
