Candy Hines Retirement

Candy Hines

On August 31, 2012, Candy Hines, the State Director for Hope Pregnancy Centers retired after 16 years of exemplary service. Candy served as director of both HPC North years ago and recently opening and directing the South HPC while leading all three HPCs as State Director.

Tony Kennedy, OBHC President stated, "I am very appreciative of the loyalty and the commitment that Candy has to the ministry of Hope Pregnancy Center and how she is a team player for all of OBHC. Gayla White, longtime volunteer and Hope Pregnancy Center Director OKC-North will move into the role of the Hope Pregnancy State Director, and she will remain the Director of the Hope Pregnancy Center North. I am very confident in Gayla’s ability and her enthusiasm and commitment to this ministry. Carie White (no relation to Gayla) has agreed to be the new Director for the HPC-South. Carie has served as a volunteer and comes to us with a degree in counseling and a real passion for the ministry."

Candy was honored with a party where many staff, volunteers and friends wished her a happy retirement and expressed appreciation for a job well done.
