Baptist Children's Home, Owasso

The Baptist Children’s Home in Owasso was begun with land and money made available by a gift of Mr. and Mrs. J. Ray Smith of Tulsa.

John Fite

Rev. John Fite served as chaplain, and his wife Lillian served as Cottage Supervisor for boys and girls.

Mildred Gilliam

Mildred retired after serving at Baptist Children's Home, Oklahoma City in 1975 after 29 years of service.

Baptist Children's Home, Madill

The Baptist Children’s Home in Madill began in 1976 when former Governor and Mrs. Raymond Gary gave land and money to the Department of Child Care.

Jerry Bradley

The first administrator of the Baptist Children’s Home, Madill, was Jerry Bradley.
