He who finds a faithful friend, finds a treasure.

James and Savil Wadley are longtime supporters of Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children. They live in Henryetta and are members of Salem Baptist Church. They became acquainted with OBHC when Savil took their two homeschooled daughters to visit the Owasso campus on a field trip. Less than two months later they gave two of their pet goats to Boys Ranch Town. Both girls are now young women.

Tony Kennedy states, “When I think of the term ‘faithful friend,’ a picture of James and Savil come to my mind. Throughout the years this couple has demonstrated a commitment to the well-being of our children and they continue to be our very faithful friends. They serve as ongoing encouragers.”

Savil and James have made a significant contribution to the present and future ministry of Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children by their monthly giving. Their history of giving and love for children qualify them for membership in the Gladys Smith Society.

This membership is the highest award given by OBHC to say “thank you” to people who make an outstanding effort on behalf of at-risk children in Oklahoma. 05-20-11
