Dr. Thomas NixDr. Thomas E. Nix

Dr. Thomas E. Nix has demonstrated a strong personal interest in the Sanctity of Human Life and is a leader in the Oklahoma City community.  He has been instrumental in work with BirthChoice and through his involvement in his church. Dr. Nix has been an encourager for our Hope Pregnancy Center in Oklahoma City and continues to use his influence to further the Sanctity of Human Life.

Dr. Nix is the nephew of the late Harvey Platt. Mr. Platt was very successful in the oil lease investment business prior to his death in 1978. Although he never married, Mr. Platt loved children, especially his two nieces, adopted by his sister. Realizing how their lives had changed for the better, Mr. Platt left a portion of his estate to the Baptist Children’s Home in Oklahoma City to help other children in need.

Dr. Nix is the executor of the Harvey Platt Estate and administers the oil and gas interests of this estate with great skill and professionalism for the benefit of Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children. The Baptist Foundation of Oklahoma administers the stocks and bonds of the Platt Estate and has found Dr. Nix to be very cooperative and competent.

Dr. Nix is a practicing physician of 46 years in northwest Oklahoma City specializing in Dermatology and Dermathopathology.  03-31-06
