IRA Charitable Rollover
Congress reauthorized the IRA charitable rollover. This means that if you are 70½ or older, you can make charitable gifts of up to $100,000 from your IRA. Your gifts will qualify for your required minimum distribution and you will not have to pay federal income tax on the amount given from your IRA to charity.
Check with your CPA, attorney or other advisor to help you understand the positive impacts of your gift on your income tax return and estate. We at OBHC want your giving to be prudent, as well as generous and joyful.
