Caddo – Voca Baptist Church

This will be a One-Day Overview of Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI). This is a training designed to provide families with an overview of TBRI® principles and how can begin to apply them in their own home. The training provides information on how the brain is impacted by trauma as well as information on attachment. Families will learn the power of connection as well as the strategies needed to establish connection. The training provides information on the TBRI® Empowering principles which are designed to address what is needed to set children up for success on a daily basis. Finally, families will learn a set of TBRI® Correcting strategies that will enable them to help teach their child how to respond in a variety of situations.

OKDHS has approved this training to count toward the in-service training hours foster and adoptive families must receive annually.
