Boys Ranch Town Receives Livestock Trailer

Boys Ranch Town is often surprised by generous donations of every kind. BRT staff recently drove to Madill, Oklahoma, to pick up a brand new W-W Livestock Trailer that was donated. The new trailer is a 2014 model that is fresh out of the factory. It is one of the nicest and most practical trailers that Boys Ranch Town has ever received. The trailer was made possible through a donation from C Bar C Trailers in Chickasha and another donor.

“The trailer is called an All-Around, which means it is useful for hauling many different types of livestock such as horses, cattle and small animals. Boys Ranch Town needs a dependable trailer like this to take its petting zoo to the many churches and community events each year. They will also use this trailer on almost a daily basis going to parades, livestock shows, sales and picking up animal donations,” said Brent Thackerson, campus administrator.

There is a designated home for the trailer in a barn, as well as plans to keep it well maintained so that it can be used for many years to come. Boys Ranch Town is grateful to those that made it possible to donate the trailer and wish to express their gratitude for the support of their animal programs.
