Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children

Baptist Home for Girls Services

PROGRAM GOAL: The goal is to provide a Christian home environment for girls until they can be reunited with their family, graduate from high school, or become capable, caring adults.

CRITERIA FOR SERVICE: Residents come to live at Baptist Home for Girls between the ages of six and seventeen, with younger girls eligible if a sibling is in grade school. The girls may live on campus beyond the age of eighteen if they have not completed high school.  We request that the resident and family commit to a nine-month placement with the Plan of Care review every six months or as needed.

Read about our placement requirements.

Finances: OBHC does not charge for its services or accept government funds. We help children without regard to religious affiliation. OBHC is dependent upon the generosity of caring people and churches.

While there is no charge for the services of Baptist Home for Girls, families may make donations to Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children or be involved in their child's care by providing for special needs that may arise. Families are expected to pay for all medical needs during the child’s time of placement.
