Statewide Services and Ministries
In addition to basic residential care, maternity residential care, Children's Hope program and the Hope Pregnancy Centers, Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children expands its services to several other areas of ministry throughout the state.
One Such Child - Foster Care
One Such Child Foster Care connects children in need of hope with churches and families who care. OBHC is not providing foster care services; we are giving your contact information to a like-minded foster care agency.
It is our desire to maintain contact with students and families through our Alumni Association or through aftercare services we provide. Services include educational scholarships, alumni loan funds, and on-going relationships and encouragement as long as they desire.
LifeWize is a program to provide healthy decision making, goal setting, and life skills in the areas of abstinence, prenatal and baby care, and teen parenting to High School and Middle School students.
Pregnancy Resource Network
Our Pregnancy Resource Network is a large group of cooperating evangelical centers across the state of Oklahoma.
A program called "tripleC" helps develop positive leadership skills in our older residents. The name comes from three "C" words that describe the hope we have for all of our residents, "capable, caring and Christian." Members of tripleC meet several times throughout the year and work on lesson materials, perform mission work and strive to become positive role models among their peers and other OBHC residents.
Women of Compassion
Women of Compassion enables generous, community-minded women from across Oklahoma to be part of gifts that are collectively larger than most can afford to contribute individually. Members meet with other women once a year for a fantastic women’s event, where they have a voice to determine how the yearly contributions are spent. Women of Compassion is open to women of all ages and denominations who want to make a difference in the lives of children.
