Sue Fellers

Sue and Kenneth Fellers are significantly involved in the present and future ministry of Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children. Members of the Fellers family have provided their best alfalfa hay to Boys Ranch Town for more than 50 years, as well as other types of support. Brent Thackerson, administrator at Boys Ranch Town, states, “In Matthew 5:12-14, Jesus teaches for believers to be salt and light in the world. Ken and Sue Fellers are a perfect example of salt and light, as they have interacted and given of themselves to Boys Ranch Town and Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children.”

Sue has completed two terms of service on OBHC’s Board of Trustees and is currently serving as a member of the Development Task Force formed in December 2009. Sue and Ken are members of First Baptist Church, Cherokee where Sue directed the music ministry for several years. Together they operate Fellers Farms LLC and in 2002 were named Oklahoma Farm Family of the Year.

Sue and Ken demonstrate a genuine love and concern for children through attendance at President’s Leadership Banquets and other campus activities. Friends like Sue and Ken enable OBHC to fulfill its mission to help children become capable, caring Christian adults by sharing Christ’s love and providing hope and homes for children.

Tony Kennedy, president of Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children, states, “Sue and Ken are personal friends and have been great encouragers to me. I highly recommend them to be recognized as members of the Gladys Smith Society.”  03-27-10
