Private Kenneth C. HallPrivate Kenneth C. Hall, a resident of the Oklahoma Baptist Orphans’ Home from 1926-1935, was a radio operator during World War II. He had enlisted in 1939 and been overseas one year when he was captured by the Japanese in the fall of Corregidor and was imprisoned at Fukueka, a Philippine prison camp.

In September of 1945, the United States War Department notified Hall’s mother of Private Hall’s imprisonment, recent liberation, and imminent return to the United States.
