Ann PryerAnn (Plank) Pryer, 77, of Tulsa and Westville, passed away Sunday January 27th, surrounded by her husband and children.

Ann was born August 10, 1935, in Springfield, MO to Fred and Marie (Vaughan) Plank. In 1953 she graduated from Ozark High School where she was a cheerleader, a gift she continuously used to encourage those she came in contact with.

Her expertise in business, combined with her common sense and experience made Ann a much sought after advisor. She served on the board of Cross Training Sports Camps International of Oakwood, Georgia. Ann served several terms as a board director for the Baptist Foundation of Oklahoma and is a member emeritus. She was involved with the Ministry Through Education, funding seminaries in Africa and Peru.

Known as "Angel Ann" at Tulsa Hope Pregnancy Center, she served for many years as both a volunteer and advisor. She was a faithful advocate for the Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children, generously giving of her time and talents as well as her prayer and financial support.

Ann had a deep abiding love for Christ, which was evident in every conversation she had. She instilled in her children, grandchildren and countless others, the power of prayer and promises of Jesus Christ.

W.E. and Ann have enjoyed spending much of their time in recent years at their ranch near Westville, OK where they are active members of Christie Southern Baptist Church and Ann taught the ladies' Sunday school class. In the years preceding, they were active members of Eastwood Baptist Church and Sheridan Road Baptist Church, both in Tulsa.
