A Story You Won’t Forget
Retired Lieutenant Colonel William Merrifield has quite a story to tell. At age 9, he hitchhiked by himself from California to Oklahoma City. At age 13, his grandfather met him at the door of his home with a suitcase and $20 and told him he was on his own. William traveled all over the United States before coming to the Baptist Children’s Home. Mr. Merrifield will be in Oklahoma from April 1 through Mother’s Day and is willing to share his story with any size group in any part of the state. To read more, click here.
